  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Gradually add flour and mix until combined.
  4. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of a greased springform pan.
  5. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  6. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Stir in sour cream and vanilla extract until creamy.
  8. Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust, spreading it evenly.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  10. Let it cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least four hours or overnight.
