Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup almond milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. pure maple syrup (or honey, or agave nectar)
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of kosher salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla (if using), and salt.
  2. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes, allowing the chia seeds to begin absorbing the liquid.
  3. After the initial sit, give it a good stir to ensure all the chia seeds are well incorporated.
  4. Cover your bowl or transfer the mixture into an airtight container and pop it into the refrigerator.
  5. Allow it to chill and thicken for at least 8 hours or up to 1 week if you want to meal prep.
  6. When you’re ready to serve, mix in your favorite toppings and enjoy!
