A rich and creamy Cheese Ball appetizer perfect for gatherings, featuring a blend of cheeses, herbs, and topped with pomegranate arils.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-oz.) block cream cheese, softened
  • 6 oz. goat cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyere (or sharp white cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup sliced, toasted almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme
  • Kosher salt (to taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup pomegranate arils
  • Crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and goat cheese, blending until creamy.
  2. Gently fold in the shredded Gruyere, toasted almonds, parsley, and thyme until well incorporated.
  3. Season with Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  4. Shape the mixture into one large ball.
  5. Roll the Cheese Ball in the pomegranate arils until covered.
  6. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes to firm up.
  7. Serve with an assortment of crackers.
